Kosher standards at camp
Our kitchen is under the supervision of Lighthouse Kosher
Our kitchen follows strict kashrut observance including:
– Full-time mashgiach in residence at camp at all times
– All food products have hechsharim from major kashrus agencies
– All meats are glatt (All meat is supplied by Grow & Behold)
– Produced is checked for insects
– Eggs are checked for blood spots
– All bread is pas yisroel
– All cheese products have hechsharim from major kashrus agencies (Most of our cheeses our supplied by The Cheese Guy)
– We do not accept the following hechsharim: Tablet-K, Triangle K
– All equipment is toiveled as required
An eruv is in place around camp and inspected weekly.
